Who we are
We are a student-run nonprofit organization dedicated to making academic support more accessible and affordable through remote learning. Through one-on-one tutoring, we strive to help students reach their academic goals while aiding children with autism with every session.
What makes us different
Unlike traditional tutoring services, our mission goes beyond academics.
100% of proceeds from every tutoring session are dedicated to supporting programs for children with autism.
That means every session booked directly contributes toward sensory programs, cultural enrichment, outreach, and opportunities that directly improve the lives of children with autism and their families.
By Students, For Students
One on one dynamic tutoring.
Unlike classes with multiple students, our students can each receive special attention from their personal tutor, with classes tailored to their needs and interests.
In typical remote classes, students sit and listen to a teacher give a lecture while taking notes, often feeling too intimidated by the other students to ask questions. This leads to lack of engagement and gaps in student understanding. Since we offer one on one peer tutoring, this creates a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to direct their own learning, putting emphasis on the topics where they need the most help.
Additionally, since students will always see the same tutor, the tutor will understand the student’s unique learning style and interests over time. This will lead to a more productive class dynamic that will bring the best from both student and mentor. Not only that, since they are also fellow students, our tutors can build camaraderie with pupils since they understand the challenges of modern schooling firsthand.
Our mission
- Make peer-to-peer remote tutoring more accessible for students
- Create opportunities for students to give back through education
- Directly support programs that benefit children with autism
